MATE ROV Orientation for Volunteers

The purpose of this event will be to introduce volunteers to this year's MATE ROV Competition roles, missions, and props, and to give them a chance to build and play with a simple ROV.

Congratulations to the winners of the Oregon Regional MATE ROV Competition! The winning team from the Ranger class will advance to the International MATE ROV Competition in Federal Way, WA at the end of June where they will compete with top teams from around the world.

Save the Date - April 28, 2018

The 2018 Oregon Regional MATE ROV Competition will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Lincoln City Community Center in Lincoln City, Oregon. This is the same place where the competition was held in 2017.

ROV Workshop for Educators - Jan 13

Introduction to ROVs
Saturday, January 13, 2018 - 9am to 4pm
Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay, OR

Join us in Coos Bay to learn how to build remotely operated, underwater vehicles with your students. Find out how they can use their underwater robot to compete in a statewide robotics competition. You can use ROVs to teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and help prepare your students for technical careers.
